This was my first time going to Nealey's and I am so happy with their service. This was the first time I felt like I wasn't being taken advantage of. I worked with Jeremy and he was super with answering all of my questions and helping me understand what was really happening with my car. Their technicians are far more knowledgeable and thorough than other shops. Overall I think their prices might be higher than other places, but it's definitely worth it for peace of mind. If I had any complaint, I just wish you could make appointments and wait on site for minor maintenance like oil changes instead of having to pay for the rental car. But Jeremy said there's a good coffee shop down the street, so I'm sure I'll take his advice next time. I'm very happy with their service and the work they did. I'll definitely be back!!

I brought my 2017 Santa Fe in for a normal oil change. Upon completion I was told I needed both front and rear brake pads and rotors as they were almost down to bare metal. Cost was $603.43 for the front pads and rotors and $739.83 for rear pads and rotors. I was somewhat skeptical as the car only had 57000 miles on it and I had had no problems such as squealing brakes or shuddering of the pedal, so I took it to another auto shop and asked them to check my brakes. They told me my front rakes had some wear (called it "half life") and the rear brakes were fine. And of course there was absolutely nothing wrong with the rotors. They were shocked when I told them what Nealey had recommended. Also I was told by Nealey my air filter was very dirty and had to be replaced, so when I got home I checked it myself. It was still white with very little dirt on it; AND they recommended flushing and replacing all fluids, front and rear differentials, transfer case, etc. Beware!! This is NOTan honest merchant.

Marcia, we're sorry that you felt the way you did about your experience with us. Many of our maintenance recommendations are made based on age and mileage of vehicles based on history or lack of, the fluid exchanges usually being part of that. Air filters are recommended when debris are visible or after 12 months or 12,000 miles. Our records show that two different inspections had marked the brake pads on your vehicle at 5/32 last year, down to 3/32 this year from two different technicians. I had work done on my 2014 Subaru Forester. Nealey was able to diagnose the issue with my transmission and get me back on the road after the repair. Due to a delivery issue with part required, I was without my car for an additional day. Other than the delay I am satisfied with Nealey and particularly with their professionalism. I will continue to use Nealey’s Auto Repair in the future!

Brought 2 of my vehicles here for oil changes. One is 2020 Jeep JLU and the other is 2014 Tundra. Was truly looking for a new mechanic after mine for many years retired. The bill is never what they quote it will be, they want to upsell you on fluid exchanges of BG derives constantly, gouge for parts, and when I took my Tundra in they stated is needed everything under the sun even though I have kept up with the service levels, parts, and over m maintenance well above recommended standards. Took my truck to a second shop close by for another opinion and found out 90% of what they recommended was not needed. Their only saving grace is their office associates are very pleasant. Only reason they got 2 stars.
