Poor experience here - waste of my time and money. I had taken my vehicle to the dealer, and they diagnosed the issue but couldn't get it done in the timeline I wanted because they were backed up. I called Nealey and explained what I needed done based on output from dealer diagnostic. I was quoted a price based on a recent job they had just done for someone ($3k - the same cost the dealer quoted), and when I brought it in was quoted $4.5k (after paying another diagnostic fee). The items added on would have had to be done for the other customer as well, so I didn't understand the price change. I was still charged for the shop to tell me what I already knew when I brought it in. Dealer just completed the work for under what they originally quoted - I'm glad I didn't have the work done here for $1500 more.

Point of note - I had a great experience here when it was challenger auto. Edit after shop response. I would be happy to call and provide consulting services on how you can improve your communication. My hourly rate is $69 - the same rate you charged me for evaluation of my vehicle.

Rockville location must be too busy. I was notified day before my appointment-after having it a week in advance- that my appointment was rescheduled. Then, my Rescheduled appointment was rescheduled the day of, just 2 hours before….I don’t wanna see if third time is a charm. The excuse “we got slammed with work today” well mine was allegedly one of them! 🤦🏾‍♂️ Just set my appointment further out, or say you’re too busy.

All expectations were met. Staff kept me updated on the service and provided me with a detailed log of items to be addressed. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. I’m a fan!

Called to set up oil change and brake pads only to find out John sold the business. John always let us bring our own parts and the new owners won’t. Also said that we have to get new rotors every time they put new pads on which sounds like a scam to get more money. John never did any of that. Did John retire or did he open up a shop somewhere in tristate area? I’m been going to him for years even driving from Hagerstown now and I’m willing to travel further if he opened elsewhere. If anyone knows please leave his info in your review. Will not be using this place under the new ownership.
