They took care of me years ago with my cavalier. Now, years later, I own a 2012 Chevy Camaro 2ss Convertible. I was told my brakes had two months left on them and my front tires were low. They put emphasis on my brakes so I felt they should be done fairly urgently. I'm not ignorant. I may be female, but if I have the equipment and the means, I will do the work myself. I didn't have the money to pay for them to replace the brakes, so I ordered them online and replaced them myself. Imagine my surprise and anger when I discovered I didn't need brakes. The rotors didn't look great, but the brake pads still had 75% left on them. I could've gone another year easy. I looked at the tires and discovered they are what should've been replaced urgently. Very worn on the inside and dry rotted. I did not know this because the damage couldn't been seen without the lift (damage is on the inside of the tires). But they didn't seem concerned about the tires, only the brakes. So I spent money I didn't really have on brakes I didn't need. Now I don't have the money to replace the tires. So I get to pray that my tires don't blow while I try to get the money to replace them. I believe they saw a young girl with a nice car and thought they'd make a little money. I don't have the equipment to do my tires, so I must take it to a shop. But it won't be theirs. They were very nice and cordial. I don't begrudge them that. But I cannot take my car back to them knowing they tried to get a lot of money out of me.
